At the beginn®mg of the game things looked pretty black for the Bombers after they saw their ane run lead snatched away from them in the third inning but the potent might that has so far been hidden away in the Hollinger team started to break loose and they started to pound away at McShane till they got him out of the game. Edwards then took over the Macs but he fared no better as the Bombers descended on his slants for five more runs in the three innings that he worked. Barton switched Romualdi to short and Karahan to second. He went into the outfield himâ€" self and put Olean on first base in a shakeup to get a winning team. The game was featured by two of the nizest home runs seen in these parts for a long time. Wilson slapped out a long hit between the right and cenâ€" tre field in the third inning and then Oltean repeated the performance in the fifth when he picked out one that he liked and almost drove it out of the park. Three other long hits were the ones that were poled out by Zachar?}, Teéennant and Karahan. They each went for}ithreeâ€"baggers and drove in Jimmy Cookson got his first hit of the year yesterday and picked out a nice time to get it. He banged in two runs with his first touch.
