The LODE. has the fullest regard for the Boy Scout movement, which is also another patriotic organization, and is at a loss to understand why the Scouts and other boys concerned should have conflicted with the LOD.E. tag day which was duly advertised. They point out that the LO.D.E. would be careful not to conflict with, for example, the Boy Scout Apple Day, or any other public effort for funds advertised by PBoy Scouts or other groups of boys. The LOD.E. sincerely hopes that this most unusual situation will not occur again as it is most confusing to the public and to the organization responâ€" sible for the tag day and to the authenâ€" tic taggers. ton, Sr..
