Special invitation to all to take part in thisâ€"the only Tisdale official tribute to the specal occasionâ€"is earnestly given by the authorities. A similar ceremony and service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Schumacher High School Should a very large crowd attend, and the day be fine all the service will be held on the school grounds. The Students‘ Council of the School have set aside a sum out Oof their funds to purchase shrubs and spruce trees for the beautifying and improving of the school grounds. Some of these will be planted at the ceremony and will remain and grow as souvenirs for all time of the King‘s visitâ€"a nice idea, and a splendid gesture as coming from the students themselves. Our Girl Guides and Boy Scouts in uniform will participate in the cereâ€" mony of flag raising. And Monday is proclaimed a Civie Holiday. Kavâ€" anazh. A numiber of the older friends of the bride‘s parents, Mr. and Mrs, Fred Laforest, had met earlier in the ‘ evening to enjoy an eveningâ€"of bridge, | before the shower was held. Mrs. Laâ€" iforest was first prize winner and won a dainty cream and sugar set. Mrs. Eessette, who won second honours, was made the recipient of a case of two packs of cards,. Miss A. Sullivan, as third prize winner, received a cup and saucer. After the very delicious lunch was cerved, the young guest of honour was, requested to drop in on the party, and was greatly surprised, when the dainty basket, filled with packages was brought and presented to her. Funeral services were held at the Hebrew synagogue, Cedar.street, Timâ€" mins, at 4.30 o‘clock, yesterday (Wedâ€" nesday) afternon, and the remains were shipped to Toronto on the Northland last evening. Funeral service will be held in Toronto toâ€"day (Thursday) and interment will be made in the Queen City.
