South Porcupine, Nov. 6.â€"(Special to The Advance)â€"Ons of the saddest as well as one of the most widelyâ€"attendâ€" ed ‘funerals ever held in S. Porcupine, was that of Thursday afternoon, when the body of Walter Freeman, killed in an accident on the Dome Road on Monday, October 31, was laid to rest. St. Paul‘s Church. at which deceased St. Paul‘s Church, at which deceased had been a regular attendant and of which he had been vicar‘s warden for years, was filled with sorrowing neighâ€" bors and friends, their sympathy keenâ€" ly:â€"awakened by the tragedy which had gacsolated a home, and which called fortl; all their sorrow for the bereaved. Archdcacon Woxdall conducted the service which was the simple rite of the Anglican Church, augmented by a few keartfelt words from the Archdeacon, based on the text, "Today thou shalt Guide Meceting met on Wednesday in th The hymns, "O God our help in Ages Past," and "Bless be the Tie That Binds," were sung. A simple ceremony conducted by the firemen who formâ€" ed a guard of honour, was enacted after the regular service.
