M. Whyte ("Dad")â€" who will celebrate his 86th birthday on the following day. Last year there was a similar event in honour of this notable member of the Order and the occasion was remarkable in every â€" wayâ€"attendance, programme, goodfellowship and affection for the guest of honour being evident in outâ€" standing ways. *‘Dad" Whyte as he is affectionately known, has been so good an Oddfellow and so good a citizen that in honouring him the lodge feels it is honouring itself, the Order and the country.
