She was born in London, England, in 1879, and lived in that city until 1908. In the latter year she marâ€" ried and came to Canada, taking up residence in North Bay, where she conâ€" tinued her residence until her death. The funeral took place on Wednesday of last week at North Bay of Mrs. Ellen Malyon, mother of Russell Malyon, of Timmins. The funeral services were conducted on Wednesday afterncon, Dec. 16th, at the family residence, 99 Fcurth avenue, west, North Bay, by Rev. G. Stanley Packham. The pallbearers were:â€"A. Haskins, D. Mclachlan, B. Biggs, W. H. Beattie, J. C. Thompson and W. Finch. Interment was made at Terrace Lawn cemetery, North Bay. The late Mrs. Malyon died on Dec. 14th, after a lengthy illness, surviving her husband, the late Charles James Malyon, by only a few months. Mrs. Malyon first became ill in May of this year and it was necessary then to take her to the Civic hospital at North Bay for treatment. She was in the hospital at the time of her husband‘s death last August, and though she recovered sufâ€" ricie‘m after that to leave the hospital, it was found necessary for her to return to hospital again.
