Timmins condition windastorm there was a fairâ€"sized cr present. The Timmins team was sc duled to play, but could not fiel team and th*e Hollinger team went rain, but despite all these handicaps a very good game of football resulted, the play being very creditable to both teams. The MciIntyres won with the score 2 to 0, but they had to earn their victory. The Hollinger showed up well at defence but lacked the usual smosthâ€" ness of attack such as played the Dome to a draw last week. The goal tending of both teams is worthy of note. Ranâ€" dall scored both counters for the Mcâ€" Intyres. Aspin and MacMillan were noteworthy for the assistance they gave in the shots on the Hollinger goal. One of the saves by Rowe drew general apâ€" plause. In fact the fans were generally well pleased with Saturday‘s game, as it was certainly good in view of the handicaps of the weather and wind. Hollingerâ€"Goal, Rowe, backs, Mcâ€" Whinnie and Welsh; halfâ€"backs, Robâ€" son, Boyd and McConnell; forwards, Morris, James, Johnstone, Meredith, T. Johnson, Carroll: sub. Young. Referee, Pat Larmer, Timmins In the N. O. F. A. fixture on Tuesday of this week, the McIntyres lost. Mcâ€" Intyre games are played on Timmins grounds and there was a good crowd out to see the match. The Dome nosed out the McIntyres by a score of 3 to 2 in a hardâ€"fought match for which neither team owes any apologies. Again the football fans were well pleased with the brand of football presented. W. White tallied twice and Rogers once for the Dome, while Chevalier netted the two for the McIntyre. The next fixture in the N.O.F.A. series will be on Saturday in Timmins between the Hollinger and Dome. In view of the previous tie game between these two teams there will be special interest in this match. The revised schedule for the season for the N. O. F. A. fixtures will be found elsewhere in this issue. Last Sunday, May 14th was Mother‘s Day and was generally observed in the usual way in Timmins. The bodies were found in a trunk stored in Toronto. In a stateâ€" ment to the police, Mrs. Young said she had given birth to one ‘baby about eight years ago and to the second three years later. No doctor or anyone else was at the births, she said. She dia not know the sex of the children and did nct believe they were alive. The charge against this woman arose from the discovery of the dead bodies of two very small infants in trunks. The trunks had been in a warehouse in Tsronto, but an odor coming from the trunks recently, the police were notified and the trunks opened. The grewâ€" some discovery of the dead babies ‘was then made. The despatches say that the bodies were mummified as the Air was kept out of the trunks. The work of the backs on each team was a feature. Morrison for the Dome did some fine work and showed exceptional judgment in placâ€" ing the pigskin.
