Special music â€"will be rendered by the choir at both services. On Sunâ€" day morning, service at 11 am. and evening service at 7 pm. Everybody welcome. Miss M. Tyris, of Winnipeg, is visitâ€" ing her uncle, Mr. James Campbell. We are sorry to hear that Mrs. C. Cameron is ill, and all wish her a quick recovery. It is pleasing to know that Mr. W. Trollope, who underwent serious operation on Tuesday at the St. Mary‘s hospital, is as well as can be expected. All his numerous friends extend to him and his family their sincere sympathy and wish him speedy recovery. The Schumacher Cadets met their Waterloo last week at Timmins where they met the Central School, this being their first attempt away from home. They came through with credit. The final match will be shot off at Schuâ€" macher this week. From the scores indicated on the targets it must have been a hardâ€"fought battle, as the scores below will indicate. Keefe, 46 Totals . 281. :. 288 Timmins won another honour last week when their allâ€"star bowling team defeated Schumacher in an interâ€"town bowling league game. Although it is late in the season to start, they took all the points from Schumacher. The final game will be played at Schumaâ€" cher on Friday next. It is pretty cerâ€" tain that the bowling trophy will beâ€" come the property of the home team. The exhibition of birdâ€"house buildâ€" ings will be on display at the public school on Thursday. The school will be open to all during the afternoon. Prizes given to the best builders will also be on display. Dr. and Mrs. E. M. Honey leave this wesk to take up residence in Toronto. Dr. and Mrs. Honey has been conneciâ€" ed with the camp for about six years and during that time they have made many friends. They have also been faithful members of the United Church, Dr. Honey being secretary to the board of stewards. Both Dr. and Mrs. Honey were well respected in town and we all wish them much happiness and proâ€" sperity in their new home and surâ€" roundings. Our sympathy goes out to P. C. and Mrs. Fulton during thegillness of their little son, Bobby, who is ill with pneuâ€" We wish him a quick recovery. The dance held on Friday last in the McIntyre Recreation hall was largely attended. The event of the season will )« on the 28th of this month when our noté Firemen will hold their annual dance. You all know what to expect at this dance. The best of music will be supâ€" plied by T. Stephens‘ orchestra. The Firemen‘s dance is always pleasant event, and will be well furnished with good prizes and the best of "eats." McGarry‘s team No. 2 scored 224 to tie with Geo. Leck‘s team No. 7. Two extra rounds per man broke the tie, and No. 7 qualified for the final. The other teams to comâ€" pete were: Cecil Robinson‘s team, No. 13, which was eliminated by team No. 11. captained by Mike Kuly, the score being 215 and 226 respectively. A. Timmins, the president, in regard to the T. N. O. The presiâ€" dent is quoted as telling the shareâ€" holders that until the Ontario Governâ€". ment decides to extend the Timmins branch of the Temiskaming and Norâ€" thern Ontario Railway to the Kamisâ€" kotia district, a distance of about 17 miles, operations on the Hollingter proâ€" ‘perty at Kamiskotia will remain at |standstill. The hope was expressed that the Government will come to a decision in the matter before long.
