Baker, of the Ankerite Mine was stolen from Timmins by three men who ditched it on the Timminsâ€"Porâ€" cupine highway. The gasoline from the ear escaped and in some manner took fire and when found the new auto was a charred mass. Officers Craig and Burwell found the three men drunk hiding in the bush. The usual grist of auto accidents are fast taking place. This pump is capable of taking care of the water from above and below the 600â€"ft. level. The shaft is being sunk to a depth of 1000 feet with stations eut every 150 feet. _ When the 600â€"ft. level is reached and the station cut a diamond drill will be started to eut numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 south veins at this depth.
