Ottawa The â€" liquidator reports that on!| March 31st, 1928, an annual meeting of shareholders of (Gold iill Mines, Ltd., was held, and a proxy enablino the company‘s shares to be 1'epresentâ€" ed at these meetings was o.\'ecuted and delivered to the officers of Gold* Hill Mines Ltd., by himself as liquidâ€" ator. I Both thése parties took up part of their option and then.assigned to W. R. Sweeny, Toronto. On Mareh 31, after giving effect to various assignâ€" ments and purchases the ownership of the option was as follows: C. A. Fosâ€" ter, $8,500; S. J. Birnbaum, 79,500; W. R. Sweeny, 400,000. The liquidator says Mr. Sweeny on April 18, took up 50,000 shares under his option, at 30 cents per share, leayâ€" ing a balance of 438,000 shares, which option is now in default and may be cancelled at oncee on notice. All will be pleased to know that Mr. J. W. Faithful is making good progress now to recovery from his reâ€" cent illness. The late C.] B. Cronyn had an opâ€" tion on 550,000 shares of (Gold Hill Mines ltd., at 30 cents per share, the option carrying the condition of being transferable.
