The many friends and acquaintances £f Mr. Stanley Stencelik were much grieved to hear of his death in St. Mary‘s hospital on Wednesday evenâ€" ing last. A term of four months was imposed on Tony Varetta on a charge of selling liquor. _ Notice of appeal was made in the latter case. Three men who were found at Mrs. Benoit‘s place when the police visited there were fined $10.00 and costs each for drinking in a place where liquor was sold. â€"Two drunks each paid $10.00 and costs.
