Mrs. Lacey states that Mrs. A. K. Reference is made elsewhere in this issue to the Kapuskasing contract, and last week The Timmims technmieal} school building contract was referred to. â€" The Speaker says :â€" ‘‘Our town builders and contraceâ€" tors, Messrs Hillâ€"Clarkâ€"EFrancis, were the successful tenderers for large conâ€" tracts in Kapuskasing and Timmins. ‘*The work to be done at Kapusâ€" kasing consists of the erection of a large hotel, hospital and elubâ€"house with central heating plant. _ The firm‘s offer and guarantee to complete the work for seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars was accepted. Work is to start right away and two hunâ€" dred men will be on the job. _ The work must be completed by the end of 1927. ‘*‘The work in Timmins consists of the erection of a technical, or vocaâ€" tional school which evidently is to be a large and quite upâ€"toâ€"date building as the contract price is $120,000. "Fifty men will commence soon on the Timmins contract. ‘*Both buildings will have floors of reinforeed concrete.
