Another thing the Poreupine Rod and Gun Club has looked after is the matter of stocking certain waters in the district with speckled trout fry. It is intended to stock the following waters:â€"Mattagami river, Redstone river, Bristol creek, Cpraft‘s creek, Shaw‘s creek, Grassy river, Redsuckâ€" er river, and Kamiskotia river. The requisitions for the fry have been placed with the Fish and Game Deâ€" partment, Toronto, and duly endosed by the leoal member, Mr. A. F. Kenâ€" The Poreupine Rod and Gun Club has made application for a number of settings of Emglish Pheasant eggs, to be hatched, and the birds released in the district when old enough to take care of themselves. It is hoped that in aâ€" few years‘ time, with proper protection, this district will be able to enjoy a few days‘ pheasant shooting the same as in some: other parts of Ontario. J. Ed@wards, of London, England, seeking informaâ€" tion about the present whereabouts of his son Harold Hilder Edwards. The latter was in the employ of the Northern Canada Power Co. at Timâ€" mins for about two years. _ A year having passed without the young man being heard from at home, the father wrote to the Power Co. He received a reply to the effect that Harold H. Edwards had left he employ of that company, and while they thought he had gone to Toronto, they had no knowledge of his present address. Later, Mr. 0. J. Edwards wrote the Provineial Secretary at Toronto, and made other efforts to locate his son, but all without result.
