the baby left on the doorstep is my mother. She was adopted by the McFaddens.They named her Mary Elizabeth McFadden. She married and had four children. She became a Nurse and later she became a member of Pierre Trudeau's secretarial staff when he was Minister of Justice and she transferred with him when he won the election. She died at 60 from a heart attack and rests in Naven Ontario.
