These tests which are held monthly afford students full opâ€" portunity of showing their worth, and as usual the efficiently trained studâ€" ents of the ‘‘Gold Medal School"‘ come to the fore. The friendly rivals, the High School ‘‘A‘‘ and the Holly Ree. ‘*A,""‘ who have been so closely matched duing the season, had their final tussle for possession of the Geo. Taylor Hardware Co. ecup, with many anxious heartbeats and tense moments for both teams and onlookers. What a game! To see those boys with the light of ‘"‘fight or die‘‘ in their eyes was in itself enough to aâ€" rouse the admiration of the eager crowd. _ Both teams indeed showed the splendid training they had reâ€" ceived, and every moment in the four periods was full of dashing, jumpâ€" ing boys eager for victory. And the onlookers! They were possibly more excited than the players. What keen watching! And what cheering when the High School seored‘! _ Every single one of the plavers outdid himâ€" self in this last fight for the precious cup. It was indeed an hour of joy when the High School wonâ€"yet through the gym wholehearted admirâ€" ation was also expressed for the splendid work done by the Holly Rees. as well as the H.S8. lads.
