"Just Cowboys" proxy.. This party claimed that many proxies formerly sent to Mr. Fennell, had been cancelled and a demand was made for an audit of shares representâ€" ed at the meeting. This party also claimed that there were not sulficient shares represented to make the meetâ€" ing legal and withdrew. Mr. Fennell explained that the plan of the manâ€" agement was to so invest the fund;: at the disposal of the company that it would grow to sufficient proportions to enable the company to acquire and develop a property independently at some future time. He stated that the directors at present had no such investment definitely in view, but that they wanted power to act wher the occasion roge. There seems to be a chance of some further disagreement among the shareâ€" holders of the Poreupine Davidson Mines, according to despatches that affirm that at a recent meeting of the shareholders a byâ€"law was submitted by the directors for ratification, to enable them to use the $125,000 in the treasury for the purchase of stock in any mining company as they see fit. Mr, Robert Fennell, a director, stated following the meeting that the requirâ€" ed twoâ€"thirds of the stock of the comâ€" pany was represented at the meeting and that the byâ€"law was passed. Two opposing forees were represented, one identified. with the Davidson Consolidated Mines, who had a large minority interest, in person and by ‘*I Wish I had Someone to Love Me,"‘ was remarkably well given for one so young. After the waltz, ‘‘Glory of Egypt,‘‘ by the Band, Bobby Miner, another of our youthful wonders in the music line, gave a violin solo. The Poreupine Juvenile Orchestra, which is fast becoming one of the most popular musical organization in town, gave several selections and after a very pretty ‘‘Serenade‘‘ played by the Band, Mr. H. Anderson, a visitor in town, was called upon for a readâ€" ing, which was given in such a realistic manner that one could clearâ€" ly picture the horse and rider and surging throng that he itold about. His response to the hearty encore was an equallyâ€"well rendered comic numâ€" ber. The Pappone Bros. (Tony and Mike) pleased everybody with their clever clarionet playing in the duets DAVIDSON SHAREHOLDERS NOT ALL IN AGREEMENT The Band Concert on Sunday evenâ€" ing after the church services was well attended. It was held in the Majestic Theatre which was filled to the doors.
