POPULAR THEATRICALS, FOR TIMMINS, OCT. 14â€"17 The annual meeting of the Caleâ€" donian Society of Timmins will be held on Friday evening of this week, Oct. 9th, in the Hollinger Recreation Hall. The chief business <of course, will be the election of officers for the ensuing year and the other business of the Society connected with the annual â€" meetings. The Society . was established in 1920 and since then has successful. It is deâ€" sired of course that the suceéess acâ€" hieved should be continued,‘ and, as the success of a Society depends very materially on the officers elected, it is par%culgrly necessary to have a good attendance at the annual meeting and as much interest as possible in the event. â€" According to the constitution, ‘‘ordinary members only shall be enâ€" titled to vote : or be elected to office."‘‘ All ordinary members should be in attendance on Friday evening so as to assure the continued succgess of the Caledonian Society during the coming vear.
