Missges Genevieve and Adelard Mceâ€" Janet spent Sunday at their parental home. Miss Barnett, of Schumacher, and ‘Miss Walker, of Timmins, were Easter wvisitors at Mns. Day‘s. Mr. A, Maclean spent Sunday at Swastika. ‘Mr. H. Doonan returmed home to Cobalt Monday noon. The Union Church was erowded Easter Sunday Evening and had for its speaker Mr. Goss, who delivered a very impnessive sermon. Mrs, H. King has left for Toronto where she will in future reside. Miss Margaret Kant entertained a few of her friends on Monday night. The Ladies Aid held their Monthly Tea at the home of Mrs. Farmer. Gogs, of North Bay, Gnand Organizer of the L.O.L., is in the Camp and meeting with much success in his work. ~On Saturday evening he conducted a meeting in Timmins, deâ€" livering a stirring address on the principles of the Order, the meeting attracting a good attendance. On Monday evening the Grand Organizen conducted a very successful meeting at Golden City. He is busy this week organizing a lodge of the Order at Schumacher. There are already 45 members for this dlodge at Schuâ€" macher, it is understood.\ GRAND ORGANIZER OF THE ORANGEMEN IN DISTRICT The annual Selfâ€"Denial Week colâ€" lection by the Salvation Army is now on, and any day you may expect a eall from Capt. Cornthwaite. Give him a good welcome and a good contribuâ€" tion. It is for a worthy cause.
