REPORT OF NEW FAST TRAIN ‘â€"~FROM TORONTO TO NORTH was a report in cireulation last week in Toronto to the effect that a new fast train will be put on iby the Canadian ‘National Rarlways to run from Toronto to Timmins, Troquois Falls and: Coohrane.»> This traim, it was said would commence :operations about â€" May 15th, and would © leave Toronto ‘éach day in the early afterâ€" noon, pass through North Bay about midnight ‘and neach this part of the North in the amerning. ~Confirmation of the.report was mot available either from the C.N.R. orâ€"the T. N.O. At the same time.there was no positive _denial regarding it. Should such a train be operated, it isolikely that its return trip would leave Timmins in the late afternogn or in the evening. Another: Foronto report suggests that the C.N.R; would only: operate the train as farmas North Bay leaving the T. N.O. tesupply conâ€" nections from North Bay to the Nonth. A statement by Mr. Geo, W. Lee suggests that the T. N. O. would be quite ready to supply such connecâ€" tion. There may be nothing at all in the report. ‘On the other ‘hand the recent suggestion made by Mr. R. A. Mcelnnis, of Troquois Falls, in a letter to The Advance may lbe much nearer being fulfilled than many people thought at all possible. The Northenn News last week says: Jane Caldbick, daughter of Sheriff and Mrs. Caldbick, who had her leg broken while skiâ€"ing on Januâ€" ary 4, is improving at hen home. It is expected the plaster cast will be removed from the injured leg in about a week.‘‘ _ STCHARLES MILK Es CE > Let gelatine stand in the milk for five minutes, then scald the mixture.
