Four Stores in the North Gyproc Fireproof Wallboard is in reality wall plaster cast in sections. It can be nailed like lumber. It is rock, yet it saws like lumber. It is flexible, light and easy to handle. Gyproc, we would emphasize, proâ€" vides strength, safety and finish at a substantial reduction in building costs, with a profit to the purchaser from any viewpoint he may have. GYPROCâ€"â€"the wallboard " durable as rock and workable as lumber"â€"is the logical advance from oldâ€"fashioned lath and plaster to the day of "fireproof walls cast in sections." For finishing interiors Gyproc does away with lathing and plastering. The most beautiful finish in paper, paint or alabastine may be applied to its smooth surface. Fireproof Walls, Not Fireâ€"T raps Any fire chief will tell you that the great loss in case of fire is when the fire penetrates the plaster and follows on the back of the lath to the attic. They can‘t get at it. The ONTARIO GYPSUM CO., Limited, PARIS, ONTARIO Station. "A CHAIN OF SERVICE "| Gyproc not only completely eliminates the use of lath and plaster and at a much lower cost, but (1) Saves 3 to 5 weeks time in building with equivalent of labor saved in rent or interest, plus complete absence of damp walls, spattered floors and muss. Walls and ceilings finished with Gyproc Wallboard will not let the fire pass. The fire is confined to the room in which it originates. Be sure to get prices on Gyproc beâ€" fore you build. All you need to apply Gyproc is a hammer, a saw and a few nails. An examination after the fire astonished the fire chief and residents of Todmorden. "The Gyproc Wall Board partitions came through the fire intact. These partitions were not plastered and the bare Gyproc withstood the most intense heat, which even metal could not resist. In a recent fire at the home of Mr. Brown, 27 Woodville Avenue, Todmorden Ontario. practically everything was destroyed. The fAames spread over the entire dwelling when the metal ceilings peeled off and it was two before the fire had burned itsoelf out. At the Kiwanis Luncheon yesterday the principal speaker was Mr. Laut, advertising manager for Homer L. Gibson (%0., Toronto. Mr. Laut spoke very ably and effectively of the immense resources of Ontario in minâ€" erails, forests and other wealth.
