FIRE CALLS WITH SMALL DAMAGE DURING WEEKâ€"END. On Saturday evening at about eleven o‘clock there was a call to F. Feldman‘s at Moneta. It was a chimney fire and there was no harm done and no damage resulting. At 8.40 on Monday morning the call was to A. Brazeau Sons, 10 Cedar street, There was a little blaze started from a heated pipe, perhaps, in the partition in one of the rooms. _ The blaze was quickly extinguished by the use of the chemiâ€" cal tanks. D. Club held last Wednesday evening was a very enjoyable event. Several of the members met at the clubrooms in the 1.0.0.F. Hall here and went from there to the Timmins: Rink, others joining at the Rink later. _ Wednesday evening being being regular night for the Timmins Citizen‘s Band at the Rink, this made the Skating iParty put on by the Club doubly attractive. Aften ten o‘clock the members returned to the Clubrooms whene a short dance was held, followed by the usual enjoyable ‘The meeting this evening will be the usual weekly dance, the Anâ€" nual Dance being held on Friday evening in the Masonic Hall here, invitations having been sent for this event. Next week the Annual Sleigh Drive of the Club woll be ‘held, after which the Club will be guests of Mr. S. Shankman to a theatre panty in the Maple Leaf Theatre, at Schuâ€" macher. A.5.0.
