There was a large attendance at the funeral, the late Mr. Pelletier being one of the pioneers of the Camp and very highly esteemed by all. He was sixtyâ€"five years of age, and a native of ‘Ottawa. A widow and two sons survive. Death was due to dropsy. His many friends throughout the disâ€" trict will be deeply grieved at the death of this good ceitizen. A representative of the United Exâ€" plorers®" Corporation is at present in New York negotiating the sale of some of the company‘s holdings, and an important announcement in this connection may be expected shortly. The new residence of Dr. Russell on Bruce Avenue is nearing completion. It is a handsome â€" structure, twoâ€" storeys and basement, built of cement blocks, and is indeed an asses to the town. Some unusualâ€" ly rich specimens of ore were brotught out and prospectors showed much inâ€" terest.
