Accordingly it is understood that work for the present at least has been suspended, but the Mining Corporaâ€" tion is still holding the claims. Conâ€" siderable excitement was created by the reported find of radiumâ€"bearing pitchblende in Butt Township, and the interest was increased when the Minâ€" ing Corporation took up some proâ€" perties and set the engineers and other men at work. Interest now will no doubt die out in the matter, but others who will still claim that there is fortune awaiting the working of pitchblende in Butt Township. WORX STOPPED IN BUTT TOWNSHIP RE RADIUM.
