This Rock N' Roll group has performed in the Hide- away before and is one of the top attractions to play, the room. There is also a dancer, Christina, on the pro- gram. CIvVic AUDITORIUM David Whitfield and Ruby Murray, two of the top sing- ers in the British Isles, will headline the English Variety Show to be presented Oct. 19 at the Oshawa Civic Audi- torium by the Old Country Club of Ontario County. EASTDALE COLLEGIATE The Oshawa Centennial committee announced _ this week that contracts have been signed for The Best of Barkerville Show, which is to appear at Eastdale Collegi- 'ate Nov. 7. The Oshawa Kiwanis Club will sponsor the show. SPRUCE VILLA HOTEL Charles Eckstein, the pop- ular Cleveland _ entertainer who has appeared so often at the Spruce Villa Hotel, Whitby, will be back again next week for an engage- ment. Loraine and Carol will assist him with songs and performances on the electric organ. HOTEL LANCASTER The Silver Pine Sweet hearts -- three talented and Country and Western music -- will be the headliners in the Blue Horse Lounge of the Hotel Lancaster on King St. W. starting Monday night. The Patsy Lee Trio from New York City will conclude their current engagement to- night.
