Fairman School, The parade will be presented to the best band and float entered. 12:30 p.m. -- Pee Wee Soccer Tournament--Teams from New- market, Scarborough, York Township, Etobicoke, Oshawa and Whitby will compete for the Bathurst Paper trophy. The games will be held on the soc- cer field adjacent to St. John's Anglican Church on Victoria Street just east of Brock Street. It will be a five game tourna- 1 p.m. -- Waterfront activities for the day begin with a sail- past of all vessels to be re- viewed by Mayor Desmond Newman and Commodore Mel Goreski of the Whitby Yacht Club. At 2 p.m., the Thunder- bird sailboat race begins, and at 4 p.m. all boats will have their chance in an open class race. 2 p.m. -- Girl's Juvenile Soft- ball Tournament -- three games will be held in Centennial Park, Brock Street South. Since that time, a nearly-completed clubhouse has been built, and plans are being completed for the building of a yacht basin in the harbor. The club has obtained four and one-half acres of land on lease from the Town of Whitby.
