Riley as general superintendent of the GM plant at Ste - Therese- Quest, has been announced by E. N. Weldon, plant manager. Mr. Riley succeeds D. C. Low recently transferred to Oshawa as general superintendent, pas- senger body assembly oper- ations. He will be responsible for the co-ordination and planning of all production activities at the Ste. Therese plant. Mr. Riley had 28 years exper- fence with GM at Oshawa, 10 Of these as superintendent in charge of truck body assembly operations. He lives in Rose- mere, is married with one son, also an employee of General Motors. Realtors Open Campaign Here A campaign for funds for the Canadian Real Estate Boards' Foundation was started at a gen- eral membership meeting of the Oshawa \and District Real Es- tte Board. The Foundation is the Cen- tennial Project of the Canadian Association of Real Estate Boards and the Ontario Fund is the first provincial fund under the Foundation.. Since it's inception, the On- tario Fund has donated $25,000 for the establishment of a real estatg library at York Univer- sity, Toronto, and further funds are pledged to encourage the un- der - graduate and graduate rograms, research, and deve- lopment of specialized courses in real estate at York Univer- sity. F. Norman MacFarlane, first the Canadian Real Estate Bo- ards Foundation, started the campaign among the local real- tors, and outlined the progress fm real estate education in the past 35 years at their recent meeting.
