CLIFTON BOWES The death occurred, May 21, at the Oshawa General Hospital, following a' lengthy sickness, of Mrs. Clifton Bowes of 487 Cun- ningham Avenue. The former Marion Mc- Dougall, the deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander McDougall. Born at Southampton, Ont., she was married at Port Elgin, Ont., May 17, 1952. She came to Osh: awa from Port Elgin seven years ago. Mrs. Bowes was a member of Northminster United Church, the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire and the Women's Auxiliary of the Oshawa General Hospital. She is survived by her hus- band; a daughter, Mrs. John Myers (Joan) of Burlington; a sister, Miss Vivian McDoug- all of Owen Sound; a brother, Donald McDougall of Kirkland Lake and a_ granddaughter, The memorial service will be held at the Armstrong Funera! Home at 2 p.m., May 24, follow- ed by interment in Oshawa Union Cemetery. Rev. Dr. H. A. Mellow will conduct the service.
