Send 50c. OBITUARIES WALTER GEORGE CANDY The death occurred sudden- ly, May 7, as the result of a heart attack, at the family residence, 758 Ritson Road South, of Walter George Candy. He was in his 64th year. > A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Candy, the de- ceased was born Sept. 1, 1903, in London, England. He lived in Toronto prior to moving to Oshawa 23 years ago. He had been employed by the Oshawa Public Utilities Commission for 22 years and was a member of the Canadian Corps Associa- tion. Mr. Candy is survived by three sons, Sydney of Toronto, Albert of Calgary and Wayne of Oshawa; a sister, Mrs. Dor- othy Shaw of Don Mills; a brother, Jack, of Buffalo and nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Sidney, in 1955. The memorial service will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home at 3.15 p.m., May 9, fol- lowed by interment in Oshawa Union Cemetery.
