He was in his 69th year. Mr, Rahme is survived by his wife, the former Myrtle Hul- burt; a daughter, Mrs. Terry Nowlan (Bernice) of Clio Michi- gan and a son, Earl of Oshawa. Also surviving are a_ sister, ~ Mrs. William Hood (Queenie) of Oshawa; a brother, Russell, of Bowmanville and five grand- children. He was predeceased by two sisters, Bertha and Agnes and three brothers, Wil- liam, Mervyn and Elwood. The memorial service will be held at the Armstrong Funeral Home at 2 p.m., April 7, fol- lowed by interment in Oshawa Union Cemetery. Rev. Dr. H. A. Mellow will conduct the service. A son of the late Robert and Martha Rahme, the deceased was born Aug. 25, 1899, at Burketon and was married July 28, 1919, at Nestleton. A resi- dent of Oshawa for 48 years, he was employed by _ General Motors prior to his retirement in 1965. Mr. Rahme attended North- minster United Church.
