Delegates of associations from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, On- tario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Is- land approved in principle the formation of a national body. It would be established when five of the eight provinces rep- resented agree to join. Only Quebec and Newfoundland do not have provincial associa- tions. : A committee, headed by John Mayell of Calgary, president of the "Alberta association, was formed to draft a constitution.
