They had a whopping $184,682,- 860 in betting money riding on their noses, It's the 17th straight year in which Canadian racetrack bet- ting tas scampered to a peak level, Last year wagering reached $169,926,335. The figures do not take into account bets on harness racing, not compiled on a national basis until January. The harness han- dle is expected to approach 000,000.
