Smith Kingsdale Avenue Residents | Celebrate Golden Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Chester Dewell, Kingsdale avenue, receiv many friends and relatives at a reception held Sunday in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple was married September 14, 1916, by - the Reverend J. S, I, Wilson, King Street United Church, Osh- awa. t Mrs, Dewell is the former Mable Morphy, daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs, Andrew Morphy of this city, Following the quiet ceremony the couple Peterborough and Lindsay, returning to take up residence in Oshawa, They have resided on Kingsdale ave- nue for the past 47 years. Mr. Dewell retired from General Motors several years ago, Mr. and Mrs, Dewell have two children residing in Osh- awa, a son Jack, a daughter Mrs. ll, and Baatint a st resides in Bowmanville, There are five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
