KING STREET UCW 10 Twelve members and three guests gathered at the home of Mrs. Harold Bradburn for the November meeting of King Street United Church Women, Unit 10, ; Mrs. Glen Stevens and Mrs. Leslie Pacey led the worship service, using "Responsibility" as the theme. Plasticware was demon- strated by Mrs. Bradburn. It was announced that a plate bearing a picture of King Street Church was available from the Friendship Group; that the UCW general meeting would be at 8,00 p.m. December 8; and that Unit 10 would meet at 6.30 p.m., November. 30, for a _pot- luck supper at the home of Mrs. Donald Cutler, Tyler Crescent. SIMCOE STREET USW 3 Mrs. W. A. Dewland enter- tained the members of Unit 3 of Simcoe Street United Church Women at. their November meeting last Friday afternoon, Reports were given on the sale of 1967 calendars. These are available from the members. Plans were made for the December meeting, which will be held at the Golf Club on Friday afternoon, December 2. GRACE LUTHERAN WOMEN'S GUILD The Women's Guild of Grace Lutheran Church at its Novem- ber meeting, heard its constitu- tion of rights read for the bene- fit of both new and-old mem- bers. It was decided that the new executive would be elected from the floor at the Decem- ber meeting; that the fall tea and bazaar would be held at Grace Church, corner of Park road south and Highway 401, November 16 at 2.30 p.m. Any- one wishing to donate baked goods or sewing for the bazaar was asked to contact 728-6174 or 728-9614 for pick-up service. ° A suggestion was submitted by the chairman of the cei aten- nial committee, that a ch urch sign would be erected on the church, and it would be ; given consideration by other gisoups within the church.
