It will soon be used across the province, and perhaps on a year-round basis. Both police and magistrates consider speed- ing control by air foolproof. Kedron District Suiiers Severe Injuries KEDRON (TC) --Mrs. K. P. Lynde, Harmony Rd. N., is pro- gressing favorably in Toronto General Hospital. She sustain- ed severe injuries to her face and head last Saturday when she fell from an auto. She underwent surgery Thursday to set her jaw which was broken in several places. Her nose was broken and one ear was badly torn. The family was travelling north, enroute home, when the accident occurred. The four Lynde children were with their parents. Mr. Lynde rushed his wife to the Oshawa General Hospital. Ajax Fire Chief C. Harris said the cause of the fire was unknown and estimated the da- mage at approximately $11,- 000 to $12,000. Neither Mr. or Mrs. Lawrence for their six children were at home when the fire started. Chief Harris said damage was confined largely to the upstairs of the home but extensive wa- ter damage occurred in the downstairs of the two storey frame house. Chief Harris said Mr. Law- rence was in the process of putting the finishing touches on redecorating his home at a cost of about $1,500. Fourteen firefighters, includ- ing 10 volunteers turned out with both Ajax fire trucks. Ajax firefighters took an hour to quell the blaze which spread through the roof.
