2A THE OSHAWA TIMES, Thursdey, Moy 12, 1966 me /\/\f WHAT MVAVA - A PROJECT OF PRIDE AN EDIFICE OF NEED Phone |728-7305 4 The Oshawa Centennial Project fits into a Dominion-Wide effort of building and beautificaton of our country to mark Canada's 100th Anniversary in 1967. Ours is only one of several hundred projects planned or already begun which, when completed, will add immensely to the wealth, culture and pride of the Canadian citizenry, Our Oshawa Centennial Project also fits into the pattern of need and pride of our own Community. It will provide additional facili- ties for recreational and cultural growth in our Community of which any Citizen should be duly proud. Our Centennial Project will be one of need; of pride, and of great value to both present and future generations of Oshawa Your help, of course, will be needed. Already a small group of people have spent untold hours planning and preparing. The Oshawa Centennial Project Parade, to be held through Oshawa on Saturday, May 14th, is proof of their already great effort. But this is only the start. The vision; the encouragement; the help of each and every citizen will be asked and needed to complete what they have begun. We urge your co-operation ... 'We did it before... We CAN do it again'!
