"Othello," film- ed in Technicolor and Pana- vision, is performed exactly as it was on the stage in the inter- nationally acclaimed presenta- tion of the National Theatre of Great Britain. For 361 years, Shakespeare's immortal 'Othello'? has trans- fixed audiences around the world. Not. only is it one of the finest plays ever written, it is also compelling, _ living drama. Many proud interpreta- tions _of the tragic Moor _ of Venice have been given over the ages. "Othello" is faithful to the playwright's intent. It has sweeping drama and depicts the moral disintegration and self- destruciion of a man "that loved not wisely, but too well.'
