The request was contained in a report presented to Ambas- sddor Paul Tremblay, Canada's permanent representative to the UN and this year's chair- man of the UN committee for International Co-operation Year. The report was presented to Mr. Tremblay by Mrs. Helen Tucker of Toronto, chairman of the women's international liai- son committee for International Co-operation Year. Mrs. Tucker headed a dele- gation to the UN consisting of representatives from 31 West- ern, Eastern and non-aligned countries.
