Wonderful things have been done with the fabric and it appears in gorgeous prints and colors, flat weave or bro- caded. In ruby and absinthe tones it was interwoven with metallic thread giving a lame effect. In double-knit silk in pastel pink and blue, were two- plecers ideal for cruise, south- ern holiday or all-year wear. A bold color, ripe melon, was a silk blouse in harmonizing hues. A black wool double-knit dress was banded at the neck and armholes in taupe which also outlined the cleverly inset) apron. | WHITE FOR PREMIERES For the theatre the white suit in silk or satin is a strong favorite.
