The case will go before the Ontario Supreme Court if the company decides to pursue the | matter. Gordon Wallingford of New | Liskeard, lawyer for Mr. Lau- zon today broke the silence on the outcome of a hearing last Friday by a master in Osgoode Hall in Toronto. # "The eviction order was thrown out because there was! no evidence as to who owns the| home," said Mr. Wallingford. | "The ownership is the issue to} |be decided and until a supreme | |court does this, Lauzon will re-| main on the property." The issue revolved around | whether Lauzon's home, which) has no basement, can be con-| sidered a "chattel," that is, a) moveable possession. Master- met says it owns both land and houses. The tenants pay the town taxes for the home, but the company pays land taxes. Mr. Lauzon is a laborer in his 60s. He and his wife live in the two - storey home they bought about six years ago.
