The form for this year ™ |was 11D. Congratulations! It was decided at the meet- ing that the date of the Prom be May 7. A committee, con- sisting of Susan McConleey, s0- cial convener; Paul . Coppin, organizer and Bill Rutherford was appointed to listen to vari- ous dance bands. They will re- port on these bands to Council and a band for the Prom will be chosen. Students' Day this year will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3. On the day students will have a chance to teach a class in either their own grade or a lower one. A committee to organize Students' Day was appointed. The BAA has announced a dance in the near future. Boys Basketball Teams Defeat Anderson High Chest Winner| Se SSS > CENTRAL NEWS Se By Girls By RUTH ANN TAVES As was proven during this past week, Central Collegiate Institute has five good basket- ball teams, On Tuesday, at Cen- tral, the Junior and Senior Girls' teams defeated Donevan 22 to 12 and 36 to 16, respec tively. On Thursday at McLaughlin, the senior girls really shone, winning by a score of 76 to 17. Sylvia Rudy with 35 points and Irene Cherkas with 22, sparked the attack. The juniors also won by a score of 29 to 5. Good work girls! Keep it up! On Thursday against Ander- |Friday at Donevan, Central's |Boys' Basketball teams won all six games. The COSSA cham- pionship games are at Central this year on March 13 and it looks like we might make it.
