IODE Gives $800 To University Students Entering into the spirit of Christmas giving, the members of the Golden Jubilee Chapter voted at their Christmas meet- ing to give $300 to a needy student entered in a general arts courts at Queen's Univer- sity who plans to teach after graduation. This brings to a total of $800 the amount of assistance given to university students this fall. 'The December dinner meet- ing was held at the Oshawa Golf Club this year. A punch bowl and social hour in the lounge preceded a - delicious dinner served in the dining room. The gaily decorated tables reflected the happy mood of the forty members and guests present. Head table guests included Mrs. J. A. Mitchell and Mrs. A. Austin of the Prince Philip Chapter and Mrs. Michael Starr, Honorary Vice-Regent of the Golden Jubi- lee Chapter. Honorary Regent Mrs, T. K.
