Approximately 40 at- tended and had a pleasant time. Mrs. Romeri! conducted con- tests and games and several carols were sung. Rev. Romeril conducted the devotional. _ A delicious lunch was 'served by two ladies who are not mem- bers, so that all members were free and able to enjoy the social ST. JOHN'S WA St. John's WA met at the home of Mrs, J. A. McArthur with 14 members and Canon Ashmore present. Mrs. H, E. Ashmore presided. The Scripture reading of the Christmas message from St. Luke and the opening prayers were taken by Mrs. John Hamilton. Mrs. Ashmore read a/ poem, "'The Night of Nights." Officers will be installed at the morning service January '3. The questionnaire regarding the Unity of Anglican women was discussed and secretary was asked to fill it in. | Canon Ashmore gave words 0? encouragement to the ladies! and good wishes for the New Year. | A social hour and exchange of gifts ended a very pleasant Christmas meeting. | ONO CLUB The ONO club held its Christ- mas meeting at the home of) Gweneth Thompson with an} attendance of 29.
