4 OSHAWA ITALIA SOCCER CLUB ENJOYED BANNER SEASON The Oshawa Italia Soccer Club has just concluded its most successful season in history, sweeping all honors in the Oshawa and District Soc- cer Association's 1964 cam- paign. Not only did Italia emerge as league champions, but they also won the two special season cup competi- tions, The Lancaster Cup and The Carling's Cup. Earlier in the season, the Italia team also captured The Victoria In- vitational Tournament. The club, sponsored by Leo Fal- conieri, established an envia- ble record for local soccer circles.
