There was strong demand for blue-chip industrial issues al- thovgh few gains were of more than a point. One exception was Massey - Ferguson which ad- vanced 1% to 28%. Supertest ordinary and Union Gas were gainers at 20 and 24% re- spectively. Gains of 4% were recorded by Trans-Canada Pipe Lines at 'HY, Dofasco at 24 and CPR 'at 46%. Base metals continued to show strength. Faltonbridge was ahead 1% to 75 and Inco % to 84144. Opemiska chalked up a 35-cent gain at $8.90 and Rio Algom 25 cents to 9.50. Golds were stronger despite a loss of % to Campbell Red Lake at 15%. Giant Yellowknife was ahead 4% to 11% and Dick- enson five cents to $4.95. Speculative mining issues were mixed on small demand. Windfall dipped nine cents to 66, Raglan two cents to $2.33 and Genex one cent to 48.
