Tenders were called again, with work on each street listed as a separate job. Nine tenders were received. The lowest were from Johnson Brothers, $28,131, on work to be done on one street and Cornell Construction Company Limited of Brantford, $35,375 for the other, The tenders were accepted at a total price of $63,505--$31,460 less than the previous bid in the original tender.
