- PICKERING VILLAGE Truck Parking. Prompts «PICKERING (Staff) A delegation appeared at Picker- ing Village Council Tuesday to ask what had been done about the parking of trucks in residen- tial areas of the village. Councillor R. A. Watson told the delegation that according fo the zoning bylaw and the village planning board, trucks are allowed to be parked in the back yards of residential homes, No heavy trucks would be allowed however. Reeve R. A. Murison suggest- ed that if the delegation thought the zoning law unfair they should take the matter to a court of law and get a deci- sion there. .He said a: heavy truck was a vehicle weighing five tons or more unloaded. Councillor B. Kearney motion- ed that beginning June 30 Pick- ering Township Police enforce all village bylaws excepting those dealing with land use and health.
