OPP To Probe Police Orgy' Complaints TORONTO (CP) -- Provincial Police Commissioner Eric Silk said Tuesday he has sent Chief Inspector Ralph Taylor to Blind River, Ont., to investigate com- plaints that several of his men and two Toronto police officers were involved in a wild week- end party there. The complaints were made by 2 33-year-old widow and a high- way department worker after a Saturday night party at the home of a Blind River lawyer. Staff Inspector Bernard Sim- monds of the Metropolitan Tor- onto police department said he had questioned two detectives and was "quite satisfied our men were not involved in any- thing wrong." The widow claims she was forced into a car by three po- licemen at the party and driven to a motel. When she refused to enter the motel, she was driven back to the party. When she arrived, she said she found a department of high- ways workman battered and bleeding. Both are in hospital with cuts and bruises. Polire Chief Walter Etmanski| of Blind River said he will question three provincial police} officers about the complaints be- fore consulting the Crown attor- ney about whether he should question two Toronto detectives.
