Mostunlike Sloe Gin--which is flavoured with sloes instead of juniper berries--our "slow" gin is very, very dry. Its listed name is Burnett's Sterling. We call it 'slow" because we make it slowly. Most gins on the market are mass- produced. They run from modern, mammoth stills in oceans. But our Sterling is distilled in small, unhurried batches. What limits the amount--and sets the pace-- is our little old copper Pot Stills. The one you see on the right is more than 100 yéars old, We brought it SWAN'S LH.A. But the men who mind them know them as 4 good cook knows het seasoned pots and pans. Watching, sipping, tasting, they let Sterling take its time. They believe that nothing excellent was ever turned out in a hurry. We'd save money, of coutse, by switching to mass-producing equipment.
