'The Gaels' previous two ex- hibition contests were also at t Children's Arena and they won both games. In the first game, Saturday, May 2, they edged the' same Peterborough club 12-11 and last Friday they whipped Lakeshore Castrolites 21-10. Peterborough, back OLA Senior Division, after sev- eral years' absence, are expect- ed to give the Gaels a tougher battle. Erns were lacking in con-' dition the last time and were be-' hind 6-0 before they finally start- ed to play. Such players as Larry Fergu- son, Davey Drummond, Bob Stickle, Jim Vilneff, Terry Downer and playing-coach Cy Coombes are expected to dress for Peterborough. For Oshawa, 15-year-old Jim Higgs is expected to be in the' lineup for the first time. Higgs, an excellent track and field star, played last year for the Hunts- ville Midgets. However, if Peterborough hopes to win the contest they will have to put a damper on high-scoring ace John Davis. The 20-year-old centre, who gave his opponents many sleepless: nights last season, has picked up 18 points in the two pre-sea- son games, including 12 goals and six assists.
