Although Scouting has been active in Canada since 1908, was not until May 12, 1914, that an act incorporating the Cana-. dian General Council of ~the Boy Scouts of Canada was ap- proved in March, 1961, an amendment to the act changed the name to Boy Scouts of Canada and, in French, Scouts du Canada. Mr. R. C. Berkin- shaw, Toronto, president of the National Council will chair the May 8 and 9 meetngs. Canada's Boy Scouts will decorate the graves of the Fathers of Confederation dur- |ing the 1967 centennial cele- brations. A request from the centennial commission, to have the uts undertake 'this pro- ject has been approved by the Executive Committee of Boy Scouts of Canada, National Council.
